A Red Valve Team Leader will assist the Supervisor and Quality Manager by leading the finishing team to ensure that daily goals are met in with the highest regard for safety and quality. Works with clearly defined methods and tasks that are described in detail. Follows established safety/environmental practices and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two years of related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in manufacturing.

- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean work cell through 5S and housekeeping
- Manage daily workload and set priorities for finishing team
- Develop a thorough understanding of the finishing department and provide support to the team as needed
- Train new employees within the finishing department
- Analyze failure modes and develop corrective actions
- Assist with quality checks
- Perform audits to ensure processes are being followed
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Report issues or problems to immediate Supervisor or Manager
- This Team Lead will support areas as dictated by business needs. The assigned area of responsibility is subject to changed based on business demands.
