JOB DESCRIPTION
Dezerland Park Orlando is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Event Host to join our team! We offer the largest indoor attraction in Florida with over 17 thrilling activities all under 800,000 sq. ft. There is plenty of room to throw the perfect event!

Examples of major tasks, duties, and responsibilities of an Event Host:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
- Set up and break down event spaces per event contract and management.
- Host entire events, supervising all activities and ensuring guests are pleased with their visit.
- Pay attention to details. Focus on Guests, and understand event BEOs.
- Observe, instruct, and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Maintain a constant working knowledge of Dezerland products, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
- Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
- Ensure events are executed at the highest level by acting as an "event conductor" throughout the event.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
- Good and effective communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities

- Willingness to engage in difficult decision-making processes
- Good organizational and coordinating abilities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of computer application, including efficiency with Microsoft Office and Google documents
- Strong ability to prioritize workload
- Prior customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Flexible schedule including days, some nights, holidays, and weekends.

Basic pay starts at $14.00 hour Tips with potential opportunity to earn up to $25 hour.
