What You'll Be Doing:
- Sleeper Truck pulling 53' flatbed, no tarp.
- Delivering trailer products while operating a tractor-trailer truck, route from Albion, IN to South East, twice a week.
- Pay Structure includes mileage, drop, and hourly pay.
- Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
- Be able to drive long distances.
- Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
- Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
- Keep a log of activities.
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.
What We're Looking For:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A CDL Required.
- 1 year experience, including manual.
- Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.
- Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
