Job Description
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work without constant supervision.
Must possess a good attendance history.
Must have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented.
Must be proficient in understanding mechanical drawings.
Understand their role in assuring safety, quality, and on time delivery. Review quality documents as required.
Actively promote safety and ensure compliance with company policy. Prepare for and lead pre-shift production meetings.
Ensure that associates are consistently meeting quality expectations.
Train/Coach associates on safety, quality, and productivity standards
Follow shipping schedules & maintain inventory accuracy.
Keep KPI boards up to date and identify how to improve.
Plan and organize activities of the warehouse.
Maintain system output to ensure hourly targets are met.
Address any mechanical/quality/safety issues during shift and ensure specs. are being followed.
Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction/on time delivery through excellence in receiving, identifying, tracking dispatching, and assuring quality of materials.
Qualifications
1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting manufacturing, or in logistics.
1-5 years of experience in operating material handling equipment.
Must possess at least 1 year of forklift experience.
Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Must be able to work well as a team.
Ability to read/write and to follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials.
Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
Meet physical requirements which include maximum lifting to 60lbs, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, reaching, and squatting.
