What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Services MS position at Dexter High School?
The Dexter R-XI School District is currently accepting certified applications for the position of a Middle School (6-8) Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The applicant must:
1) Maintain proper certification, Mild/Moderate Cross Categorical K-12.
2) Comply with the laws of the state of Missouri
3) Comply with district policies, regulations, and administrative directives.
4) Experience is preferred, but not required.
Starting teacher pay is currently $40,000, and salary is based upon years of experience and education. This is a 179-day contracted position with employee Board-paid insurance and benefits. Additional information about the district can be found at www.dexter.k12.mo.us.
