SUMMARY: This position will provide support to the principal and school office at Creekside Intermediate School.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- In addition to basic computer skills, candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database management. They should also showcase familiarity with specialized software relevant to the role, such as student information (Powerschool) and absence management (Red Rover) systems.
- Previous experience in office setting, with a proven track record of success in managing general office procedures and operating office equipment efficiently is preferred.
- Candidates must exhibit a consistently positive attitude and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Candidates must possess exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and resolve complex issues efficiently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Handles telephone calls, e-mail, and fax communications.
- Coordinate building substitutes, sign-in and reconciliation with the RED ROVER system.
- Backup Red Rover system for calling building substitutes when necessary.
- Obtains, gathers, organizes, and maintains data.
- Register new students.
- Generate and maintain accountable attendance, student records, and data using student information system.
- Maintains confidential student records.
- Accounts payable & receivable.
- Must maintain building budget and have knowledge of New World software.
- Order and maintain supplies.
- Assist staff with general office equipment.
- Coordinate Principal’s schedule and make appointments as necessary.
- Maintain building calendar.
- Distribution of mail.
- Assisting students as needed.
- Process report cards and progress reports.
- Assist in administering medicine and first aid to students and maintain medication logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bending, lifting, and overhead work required.
- Attendance and punctuality to assignment required.
- Maintain social media as directed by the Principal (Facebook, Twitter, Website).
- Create and maintain spreadsheets.
