Preconstruction Project Manager

As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Precon team based in New York city (USA) and inviting a Preconstruction Project Manager to join our company and play a critical role in the planning and execution of our projects.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other project managers, purchasing managers, and estimators, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage communications with external stakeholders, such as developers, general contractors, architects, and facade consultants.
• Prepare and present detailed project proposals and reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations with the support of Dextall’s Technical Manager.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on preconstruction and facade systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  
  

Good to have:

Experience with facades, curtainwalls, and/or prefabricated exterior wall systems.

Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP).
