Role Description The Stamping Press Operator is a full-time, on-site position based at Dexstar Wheel Co’s facility in Elkhart, IN. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring stamping presses to form steel rims and wheel components according to production specifications. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading materials, adjusting machine settings, checking parts for quality, and performing basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas. The operator will follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules to meet output and quality targets. Collaboration with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel is expected to address production issues, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate stamping presses and related Machine Operation equipment.
- Competence in Quality Control activities, including visual inspection, measurement checks, and documentation of nonconformities.
- Basic understanding of Printing and Pre-press processes as they relate to markings, labels, or product identification on wheel components.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify, communicate, and help resolve common equipment, material, or process issues.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably metal fabrication or automotive/trailer components.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow work instructions, and commitment to workplace safety and PPE use.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and work in a production setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, including possible overtime based on production needs, and to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
