Responsibilities: The Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the Dexter Team with engineering project identification, More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:
project support, and project leadership as assigned by partnering and collaborating with the Engineering
Team and Site Team.
• Continuous improvement
• Capital projects
• Safety improvements
• Automation
• Debottlenecking and capacity utilization
• Time studies
• Ergonomic studies and improvements
• Troubleshooting equipment and processes
• Plant layout
• Project estimation
• Material handling
• Create documents, drawings, training as needed to support and complete project(s)
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Requirements: In addition, you must be actively enrolled an accredited university working towards a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Safety, or related engineering degree.
