What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utilities Specialist position at Dexian?
Job Title: Utilities Specialist/Representative
Location: Phoenix AZ 85021
Contractor will be working Monday through Friday from 7 am – 4pm
Onsite three days per week, remote two days per week (Full time onsite while in training)
Duration : 12 months with possibility of extension or conversion
The Utilities Specialist/Representative works with Designers and Survey Coordinators to determine right-of-way and easement needs for standard projects. They will also complete all required Client training needed for the role.
Supports Customer Project Representatives (CPR), Service Coordinators, Project Managers and Survey Coordinators to determine the best path forward to deliver power to new customers with the least impact to existing customers while minimizing potential future financial impacts to the company.
Serves as subject matter expert interacting with multiple internal teams as well as external customers who need more information about complicated ROW issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED plus three (3) years of experience in right-of-way, permitting, survey and/or construction positions. In lieu of right-of-way experience, three (3) years of experience in customer-related/customer-facing positions within the utility industry.
