What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support Specialist position at Dexian?
Job Location: Plano, TX (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
Required Skills
- Strong experience supporting production applications in a Level 2 support environment.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop/Hive and SQL (Oracle/PLSQL or relational databases).
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
- Experience supporting batch processing environments and ETL/data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Informatica workflows.
- Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot application, database, and server issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or Cutover.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes.
