Job Title: HRIS Payroll Specialist
Location: Hybrid at St Petersburg Florida 33733
Duration: FTE
Salary: $95k - $105k base salary plus benefits
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Payroll Specialist with 10 years of hands-on US payroll experience, including complex multistate payroll processing across multiple business units and legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, taxes, deductions, bonuses, and year-end reporting (W-2s).
- Handle payroll accounting, GL reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Ensure payroll compliance, maintain audit-ready records, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Manage HRIS employee data, system audits, reporting, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 10 years of hands-on multistate US payroll experience.
- Strong payroll accounting, tax compliance, and GL reconciliation expertise.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as Paycom, ADP, UKG, or Workday.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- CPP certification and payroll system implementation experience are preferred.
