Job Title: Operational Accounting Assistant 2
Location: Sioux Falls SD 57104
Duration: 3-6 month contract (potential for extensions)
Pay range: $19- $20
Job Description :
- Support Operational Accounting; proactively seek ways to improve processes.
- This contractor will be supporting the unclaimed property group to complete data updates and review customer requests.
- Perform moderately complex operational support tasks.
- Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions. Interact with client personnel on a range of information.
- Data Entry
- Some experience with MS Excel (familiarity will be needed, this can include any training or classes)
- Prior financial services experience would be a stronger candidate
- Accounting experience would be a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comfortable with technology
- Any experience meeting deadlines, working under urgency
- Faster typing skills are valuable
- Attention to detail required, accounting background preferred, ability to multitask essential, data entry skills desired.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Operational Accounting support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
