Certified Financial Planner

Primary responsibilities include
- Identify client objectives and goals; then monitor progress throughout the financial lifecycle
- Broaden and deepen affluent client relationships in investment, deposit, and lending
- Become a trusted advisor who earns referrals from existing clients
- Engage prospects to promote and sell investment products and services
- Evaluate and analyze client financial information and data
- Use planning and discovery tools to uncover perspective opportunities
- Develop and present suitable solutions to meet client goals
- Partner with other colleagues to implement solutions
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials - Series 65
- CFP or CRC preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of industry related experience
- Record of building internal partnerships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team oriented with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience using financial planning tools
- Familiarity with consumer lending and banking solutions
- Digital literacy and experience
- Experience with investment product referrals and sales
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environment
Additional Responsibilities- Financial Planner initially focused on current book of business, with emphasis on client retention and additional revenue opportunities (i.e. additional deposit(s), referrals, product solutions).
- Interest in individual equities and desire to understand BG's investment style/process.
- Willingness to co-host BSN radio show when needed (primarily when Barry hosting show).
- Proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Financial Plan creation and presentation capabilities. Familiarity with financial planning software.
- Individual/Business tax awareness.
- Base Compensation for this role is $65,000-80,000 depending on candidates experience level and match on skillset. Total compensation after bonus and commision will sit closer to $110,000-$140,000.
