Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or benefits claims environment
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to handle 75–90 high-volume inbound calls daily with professionalism
- Strong computer literacy with multitasking capabilities
- Empathetic, patient, and able to support emotional callers effectively
- Skilled in asking relevant questions and routing calls accurately
- Ability to work quickly and precisely in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with call center metrics and performance expectations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in insurance claims or benefits administration
- Call center experience with high call volume handling
- Background in customer service roles such as teaching, childcare, or restaurant work, translating well to customer empathy and communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:

Other Requirements:
- Reside within a 90-minute radius of Richmond, VA
- Strong internet connection (fiber, cable, or DSL) with dedicated speeds of at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- VOIP-compatible internet setup meeting required specifications
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts
- Willingness to attend onsite training for 3.5–4 weeks and occasional in-office meetings
- Ability to perform tasks involving keyboard use, data entry, and phone communication consistently throughout the day
