We are seeking an exceptional Lead Android Engineer to spearhead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of critical store employee-facing applications. This role demands someone who can thrive under pressure, seamlessly transition between applications, and deliver top-notch code while guiding a team under the guidance of an engineering manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Android Development: Design and build high-performance Android applications utilizing Kotlin and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
- Debugging & Optimization: Proven experience with ADBC commands for debugging and troubleshooting Android applications.
- Performance & Scalability: Work with RxJava, Dagger 2/Hilt, and Room/Realm databases to ensure efficient app performance.
- Database & Backend Integration: Experience with MySQL or relational databases to support app functionality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the development team, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards.
- Cross-Platform Experience: Familiarity with Xamarin, Ionic, or React Native is desirable.
- Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of Angular and UI/UX best practices.
