What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Data Engineer position at Dexian DISYS?
- 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering or software development, with exposure to enterprise platforms.
- Extensive experience in data engineering, including data modeling, analysis, and aggregation
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and ability to extract data from multiple systems
- Experience in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica or SnapLogic or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, M-Query, security, and gateway configuration
- Strong skills in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Ability to design and build APIs and participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Ability to analyze trends and recommend improvements
- Experience in Python
- Advanced experience designing, deploying, and operating systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Can collaborate well with the Business, your team members, work independently, and influence your technology peers.
