The work
- Develop and scale the backbone of an AI-powered audit product, from initial concept to production deployment.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, covering data processing, user interface, agent harness development, and evaluation systems.
- Help define product direction and shape the engineering roadmap, integrating customer feedback with strategic technical vision.
- Implement robust, auditable decision logs and evidence management systems for critical compliance workflows.
- Engage directly with early customers to understand their needs and iterate rapidly on solutions.
- You've built, launched, and scaled production systems as a software engineer.
- You have experience developing AI-driven solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with modern models.
- You balance research curiosity with engineering pragmatism, preferring proven methods where they fit.
- You thrive in autonomy, owning problems end-to-end and iterating quickly with limited guidance.
- You are based in San Francisco and eager to work in person with a founding team.
