Job Summary:
The Sheet Metal Fabrication Shake Out Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently removing sheet metal parts from molds or patterns after the fabrication process. They must ensure that the parts are separated without causing damage and that the workspace is kept clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Shake Out Equipment: Operate machinery such as vibratory shakeout machines, conveyor systems, hand tools or hydraulic systems to remove sheet metal parts from molds or patterns.
- Part Separation: Carefully separate individual metal parts from the mold or pattern, taking care not to cause any damage or deformities to the parts.
- Quality Control: Inspect each part for defects or imperfections, ensuring that they meet the specified quality standards. Report any issues to the supervisor.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain shake out equipment regularly to ensure it operates efficiently. Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team.

Requirements
Qualifications:
