Dewpoint
Dewpoint Salary
Lansing, MI Full Time
POSTED ON 9/29/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/28/2025

Profile & Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is focused on generating, attracting and qualifying Dewpoint sales leads. This includes the initial sales lead capture and assessment, but primarily focuses on proactive demand creation and sales lead generation. The goal of the BDR is to fill the Dewpoint sales pipeline with qualified sales leads to enable Dewpoint Account Executives to then engage, pursue and close sales opportunities.

The work of BDR falls into two main areas—reacting to incoming sales leads, whether via phone, web or email inquiry, etc., to signal Dewpoint response and if necessary, gather additional clarifying information from the client, while qualifying and rating the quality of the lead. In most cases, this will result in putting a new entry in Dewpoint’s sales tracking system and handing-off to an Account Executive to follow-up.

The second and more prevalent work the BDR performs is working with Dewpoint Marketing, Account Executives and Sales leadership to define, plan and drive proactive sales campaigns, including coordination and use of social media and digital marketing techniques, usually in conjunction with one or more Dewpoint product partners, to target accounts in sales territories.

The goal of both of these areas is the same—filling the Dewpoint sales pipeline with qualified sales leads to pursue.
