Job Title: High School Biology Teacher
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Biology Teacher to join our strong science team. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining and advancing a tradition of high student achievement while fostering a love for science in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Arkansas teaching licensure in Biology preferred
Three or more years of teaching experience preferred
Experience teaching advanced science courses such as Concurrent Credit or AP courses is a plus
Strong knowledge of Biology content and effective instructional practices in a state-tested subject area
Demonstrated classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, standards-based Biology instruction that supports high levels of student achievement
Prepare students for success in a state-tested science course
Collaborate with the science department to support curriculum alignment and instructional improvement
Maintain an organized, positive classroom environment conducive to learning
Support opportunities for advanced coursework, including concurrent credit or AP-level instruction when applicable
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and the school community
