One of our clients is hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary GL Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will provide critical support ensuring the continuity of general ledger activities and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post precise journal entries (JEs) and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy.
- Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Extract and analyze high volumes of data from ERP systems to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
- Assist with tax-related compliance
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar corporate accounting role.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation.
