Revenue Accountant (Contract)
Our publicly traded client is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract, with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion. This is a fully onsite role (5 days/week) in the Tri valley area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
- Support month-end close, revenue accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Manage billing, accounts receivable, cash application, and collections
- Review customer contracts and sales transactions
- Partner with Operations and Order Management to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Support audits, SOX compliance, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of revenue accounting and/or AR experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606
- Recent experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Experience with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills
