About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Financial Technology, is looking for a skilled Creative Director, Owned Channel Marketing to join their team for a 6 month engagement. This project involves leading and shaping the creative work for one of the most essential, member-impacting product areas in the company and defining the go-to-market narratives for new, category-shaping financial tools. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional with at least 8 years of experience who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Responsibilities
- Creative Director owning all owned-channel work across financial products (including tax & FMD)
- Focus on account monitoring, credit monitoring, and breach-related communications
- Heavy involvement in email campaigns and push notifications to drive engagement in the app
- Oversee all creative work for owned platforms (email, push, in-app stories)
- Review 8–10 concurrent projects weekly and provide feedback
- Act as the go-to creative authority for the team
- Provide oversight of day-to-day creative production, not hands-on execution
- Collaborate with creative strategist to interpret briefs and insights
- Lead internal reviews of creative work
- No direct management responsibilities (no headcount or budget ownership)
- Role requires strong leadership presence without formal people management
Key Qualification Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Owned-channel creative (email, push, in-app storytelling)
- Clear examples from different clients or brands
- PDF or online portfolio acceptable (ensure client details & visuals are clear)
- Experience overseeing email campaigns:
- Sales, notifications, top-of-funnel communications
- Demonstrated creative oversight (vs. hands-on execution)
- Proven ability to lead and review work across multiple channels
- Exceptional attention to detail & communication skills
- Comfortable leading and presenting creative direction
Salary : $80 - $82
