Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop robust Business Intelligence solutions tailored to the needs of commercial organizations (Finance, Sales, Marketing).
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, demonstrating expert data modeling skills.
- Evaluate business requirements, conduct Proofs of Concept (POCs), and proactively identify data anomalies within source systems.
- Perform end-to-end data validation for BI solutions, ensuring high-quality data delivery.
- Develop and performance tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.
- Create strategic design and mapping of business requirements to system/technical requirements.
- Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
- Manage batch processes using scripting languages such as Pearl, Unix, or Python.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 7-10 years of experience in Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL.
- 7-10 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, including Star and Snowflake Schemas design and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
- 7 years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Deep expertise in expert data modeling skills, covering conceptual, logical, and physical model design. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple time-sensitive assignments, and handle ad-hoc requests effectively to meet project goals.
- Effective and positive communication and team working skills.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira and Github.
- Experience with source systems like salesforce (SOQL), NetSuite, or any other CRM.
Salary : $70 - $75
