Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, coordinating, and leading a team in all monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with US GAAP and global accounting policies.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation to reduce close time while maintaining accounting integrity and accuracy.
- Overseeing key accounting areas, reviewing critical reconciliations and roll forwards, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Assisting with all quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests and serving as a key liaison with external auditors.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of accounting experience at Big 4 accounting firms and/or public companies (Tech industry preferred).
- Deep expertise in managing the close process, US GAAP reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- CPA is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the desire for continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal communication skills, and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred; experience with Blackline is a plus.
Salary : $65 - $70
