Responsibilities
- Field work associated with land surveying.
- Perform Boundary, Topographic, Tree & Channel Surveys.
- Assisting with survey computations and data collection as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 3 years of survey experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferred
- Able to operate Topcon Total Stations, Lieca GPS, static, RTK, RTN
- Familiarity with NCDOT Electronic Field Book (EFB) data collection
- Ability to shoot Topography
- Ability to work remotely under rigorous conditions
- Familiarity with construction plans and RW maps
- Certified Survey Technician, Level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
- Utility designating experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be reliable
- Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
- Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.
