Our team is in growth mode, and we're looking for an experienced roadway design engineer/project manager ready to help expand and strengthen our transportation design practice in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. In this position, you’ll collaborate with a talented team and an experienced Georgia Transportation Leader to drive the expansion of our transportation design practice in Georgia, backed by the resources of a national transportation network.

Responsibilities
- Managing roadway design tasks for transportation projects.
- Preparing plans, specifications, and bid packages.
- Coordination with other design professionals and technical staff.
- Monitoring budgets, schedules, and quality.
- Coordinating with other transportation design disciplines.
- Assisting with preparing invoices.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
- Assisting the marketing staff with proposals preparation.
- Representing the firm at professional organization events.
- Training entry-level engineers.
- Interfacing with clients.
- Exercising ethical decision-making and adhering to the Dewberry Code of Conduct.
- Upholding workplace safety and abiding by Dewberry’s health and safety, and harassment policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
- 15 years of transportation design experience.
- GA PE license, or ability to obtain within one year.
- Energetic with ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Project management exposure / experience.
- Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads required. Civil 3D experience desirable.
