Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in our Leesburg, VA office.

Individual will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Individual may also conduct permitting and code research, write specifications, and preprare and submit permit applications.
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Knowledge of Site / Civil engineering practices including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency using CADD and Microsoft Office software
- Desire to work in a team environment

Summer Intern Program
During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
