Dewberry has an exciting career opportunity for an Office Manager/Senior Water Resource Engineer in the North Central Florida Water Market. - Responsible for project management, client relations, and sales activities.
- Preparation of studies for facility master planning, alternatives analyses, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
- Coordinating with staff from multiple design disciplines.
- Development of design documents and specifications and obtaining permits from regulatory agencies.
- Make site visits to pursue project leads.
- Participation in the preparation of qualifications and proposals.
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering field is required; advanced degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- 10 years' experience with advanced water and/or wastewater projects with increasing levels of project engagement.
- Florida PE license is required.
- Experience working with multi-disciplined design team.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to apply engineering principles and best practices to ensure the efficient and effective treatment of water and wastewater within our scope.
- Proven ability to effectively achieve positive results in marketing and business development including experience preparing proposals (technical and cost) for municipal and private clients.
- Experience managing a team of professionals with a wide array of skills sets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
