Diesel Diagnostic Technician

Dewar Trucking LLC is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine mechanics and experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify and address potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Truck and Trailer Mechanic.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
