Position Overview
Elizabeth & Alexandra is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proficient in QuickBooks and Excel, and capable of managing multiple financial processes efficiently. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial records and smooth operations across accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management review, including financial analyses and budget tracking.
- Assist with payroll, expense reporting, and other accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, with strong accounts receivable and accounts payable knowledge.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills (including spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer order processing preferred.
