FT Warehouse Associate

DeWaard & Bode, Whatcom, and Skagit counties' largest, local appliance and mattress retailer is hiring! Our growing business is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Meridian store. We offer a competitive starting wage, consistent full-time hours, and opportunities for growth and advancement Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assembling products and displays, loading and unloading products as needed, and organizing warehouse and work area and cleaning appliances/showroom. Job duties will be conducted at our Bellingham location.

Compensation for this position starts at $23/hour. Wage Rate is $23-30.  In this role, you'll have the opportunity for growth, and the ability to increase your compensation.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Prepare products for shipping
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures

Warehouse Associate Requirements and Qualifications

• A high school diploma preferred
• Clean driving record
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screening
• Must be able to work a 40 hour work week, this job offers the potential for overtime
• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs
