The Manager/Event Coordinator at The Kozy & Dew Drop will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events for The Mill Room and internal company events. This position will work closely with the team to ensure that events are aligned with the company's brand and goals. The Manager/Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing customer bookings for The Mill Room and onsite management of shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book & Manage Mill Room events for customers and catering events.
- Plan and execute events for the company
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure events are aligned with the company's brand and goals
- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and transportation
- Manage event registration and attendee communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events are successful
Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning and coordination or management is ideal but willing to train
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
Physical Demands:
The Manager/Event Coordinator may be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
