About the role:

As a Control Engineer within our supply chain engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in managing and designing Facility Control Systems (DCS) and Manufacturing Automation and Process Control Systems. Your expertise will help us maintain our manufacturing controls infrastructure, enhance security, and ensure seamless day-to-day production and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Facility Control Systems (DCS) and their networking and infrastructure.
  • Design Manufacturing Automation and Process Control Systems, including software and graphical (HMI) solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize manufacturing controls infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software.
  • Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues, offering innovative solutions to improve processes.
  • Enhance the security of our systems and plan for future upgrades to stay at the forefront of technology.


About You:

  • Experience: 8 Years of Factory Automation systems design, including networking, software design and creation, HMI systems implementation, and support. 8 years in a continuous manufacturing environment, preferably food or drink manufacturing, supporting and leading manufacturing and maintenance activities. Experienced in Hardened Industrial Ethernet networking on large scale implementations (1,000 devices). Experienced in managing and dealing with specialist consultants, technicians, and contractors.
  • Skills: Minimum education to degree level in control, instrumentation, automation or electrical discipline. Master’s level education preferred.
  • Needs to be extremely creative, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge: Rockwell Automation Plant PAX system. Emerson DeltaV DCS system. Knowledgeable of all applicable local and International Electrical Codes. (NFPA, IEEE, etc.)
