Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time Weekend Position

Location: Westlake, OH

Schedule:

• Every Other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Every Other Sunday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Devoted Family Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one care for an adult client in Westlake, Ohio.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a consistent every-other-weekend schedule with the opportunity to pick up additional hours at this home, as they become available, as well as at our other client locations. Overtime opportunities may also be available.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one support in the client's home.
• Assist with all activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Safely assist with transfers and mobility for a wheelchair-bound client requiring total care.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Monitor the client's well-being and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Experience providing personal care is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to safely assist a client requiring total care.
