We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining the pristine condition of outdoor spaces, including athletic fields, golf courses, and landscaped areas. Responsibilities

• Perform irrigation system installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency across various landscapes.
• Maintain athletic fields and golf course grounds by mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for landscaping tasks such as trimming, pruning, planting, and soil preparation.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment including lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping machinery with proper safety precautions.
• Manage pesticide application following all safety protocols to control pests while protecting the environment.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials during landscaping projects or maintenance activities.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure reliable operation and longevity of tools and machinery.
• Assist with landscape design projects by planting shrubs, flowers, trees, and maintaining garden beds for aesthetic appeal.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation of tools, materials, or team members between job sites.
• Follow health and safety guidelines related to power tool use, pesticide handling, heavy lifting, and general groundskeeping procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in irrigation systems installation and maintenance with strong knowledge of watering technology.
• Expertise in athletic field groundskeeping or golf course turf management with an understanding of turfgrass health.
• Skilled in landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, pruning, and horticulture practices.
• Proficient in operating hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools like chainsaws and trimmers safely.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper body mechanics.
• Knowledge of pesticide management practices aligned with safety regulations to protect personnel and the environment.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment including mowers, aerators, hedge trimmers, and other groundskeeping machinery.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems troubleshooting and repair for efficient water distribution across landscapes.
• Strong commitment to equipment maintenance to ensure operational reliability and safety standards are met.
• Understanding of power tool safety protocols combined with practical experience in landscaping or horticulture environments.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
