With nearly 50 attorneys in the firm this role will focus on all Business Law matters across a diverse set of clients relating to all kinds of business requirements, from start-up to sale. Your experience will reach across all industries such as hospitality, nonprofit, manufacturing, real estate, and technology. This is a great opportunity any Attorney interested in increasing their business law exposure and experience with an established firm and a collaborative team.
Qualified candidates should have no less than three years of experience (ideally 5 years). Experience with business, corporate, and transactional law, as well as excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills are required. Preferred candidates will be highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about managing matters from start to finish. The ability to work both independently and in teams is essential. - Drafting purchase and sale agreements
- Forming and restructuring entities
- Advising on employment issues
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Performing due diligence on deals
- Working alongside litigators if a client is involved with litigation
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
- Day-to-day assistance with clients’ business-related legal issues
- Hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3-5 years of business experience in a private law firm
- Live within 30 minutes of our Boston office
- Competitive base salary $130,000 -150,000 (subject to experience)
