What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Tutor position at DEVON PREPARATORY SCHOOL INC?
Devon Preparatory School, a Catholic, college preparatory school for young men in grades six to twelve, is seeking a part time math tutor to join our faculty for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year.
It is expected the successful candidate would:
- Work one on one with students in Algebra and Precalculus primarily
- Experience teaching Math necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching math
- Proactively communicate with students and parents
In addition, a candidate should possess the following professional qualifications and personal qualities:
- Teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics
- A demonstrated commitment to professional development
- A sense of humor, warmth of personality, and energy
- Flexibility
