The Problem
We have a massive, overlooked reality in America: By 2040, 55% of women will be single.
Right now, women represent 90% of romance consumption and 70% of intimacy device spending, but they receive less than 3% of AI companionship funding. The tools they do have are low-tech, male-designed, and data-poor. The "intimacy systems" women are currently DIY-ing involve romance novels and basic hardware that doesn't talk back.
We are changing that. We are building the first full-stack romance platform: a patented smart vibrator with biofeedback sensors integrated with a sophisticated, emotionally intelligent AI companion.
The Role
We are looking for a visionary, technical Head of Product to join our founding team. DEVIN is built for women, by women, and we have a strong preference for a woman-identifying leader to shape the future of this category.
You will be the bridge between our hardware (the "body"), our software (the mobile app), and our AI (the "soul"). You will lead a multidisciplinary team—including core hires and specialized freelance engineers—to build a product that feels like a safe, premium, and deeply intimate "escape."
The Challenge
We aren't just building an app. We are building "Phygital" intimacy. We need to bridge the gap between a physical device (sensing heart rate, temperature, and contractions) and a generative AI "soul" that knows exactly how to respond in real-time. We need someone who sees the connection between a biofeedback sensor and an AI archetype and knows exactly how to orchestrate the engineering team to make it feel like magic.
What you’ll do
- Build from 0 to 1: Work directly with the founder to scale from zero to our first $2M in revenue.
- Orchestrate Engineering: Manage our core developers and a fleet of specialized freelancers to ensure we hit the market with speed and precision.
- Own the Experience: One day you’re defining the logic for "Intimacy Mode" adaptation; the next, you’re vetting a freelance firmware engineer or diving into the data architecture for the world's first large-scale female arousal dataset.
You should be:
- Ideally, a Woman: We are building for women. We need a leader who understands the nuance, the desire, and the "intimacy void" we are filling.
- An Engineer at Heart: You have a degree in CS, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering. You can’t lead our developers if you can't speak their language (or jump into the code yourself when the "trenches" get deep).
- Experienced with Connected Devices: You’ve shipped products where hardware and software had to dance together. You understand Bluetooth LE, haptics, and sensor latency.
- AI-Native: You understand LLMs and agentic workflows. You know how to maintain a consistent vocal identity across different emotional archetypes.
- A Resourceful Leader: We are a small, fast team. You know how to find, vet, and manage brilliant freelancers to fill gaps and increase our speed to market.
