We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team in an entry-level attorney position. This opportunity is ideal for newly admitted attorneys, recent law school graduates awaiting bar results, or graduates scheduled to sit for the July 2026 Louisiana Bar Exam.
Position Overview
This position is open to newly admitted attorneys as well as recent law school graduates awaiting bar results. Candidates awaiting admission will begin in a law clerk capacity and transition to Associate Attorney upon successful admission to the Louisiana Bar.
The successful candidate will work directly with Devin Fontenot in a hands-on environment that offers substantial courtroom exposure, client interaction, and practical experience from day one.

Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence
Conduct legal research
Assist with discovery and case preparation
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
Manage case files and deadlines
Develop litigation and client management skills under attorney supervision
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed Louisiana attorney or candidate scheduled to take the July 2026 Louisiana Bar Exam
Strong writing and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
Interest in family law and litigation
Commitment to professionalism, client service, and ethical practice
