Devils Backbone - Outpost is a fast-paced brewpub serving handcrafted beer and elevated pub fare. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, outstanding hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members alike. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Ensure food is prepared and plated consistently and efficiently.
- Monitor food quality and communicate inventory needs to kitchen leadership.
- Follow all food safety and health department regulations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries properly.
- Support opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
