Description
As a Junior Master Data Analyst at Devfi, you will support the creation, validation, and maintenance of enterprise master data across SAP, Kinaxis, and related systems. This entry-level role is designed for professionals with 1–2 years of experience in data management or ERP systems who are eager to grow into specialized master data and governance roles. This position is strictly onsite in Virginia.
About the Role
This role provides structured training and mentorship, enabling progression into advanced roles such as SAP MDG Analyst, Data Steward, Recipe/BOM Analyst, or Domain Lead.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update master data objects (materials, BOMs, recipes, suppliers, and plant/site data) in SAP and Oracle EBS.
- Perform routine data validations to ensure compliance with SOPs, governance rules, and business requirements.
- Process master data change requests (CRs) under SLA-driven timelines.
- Assist with audit documentation, approvals, and data lineage reporting.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to gather and implement data requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in data management, ERP systems (SAP preferred), or related business/IT functions.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP ECC/S4HANA or Oracle EBS or Kinaxis.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to follow structured processes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to ERP
- Good understanding of supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and Inventory Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools ( Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio)
Work Schedule
Strictly Onsite – Virginia office location.
Standard shift: 3 AM – 12 PM EST.
**Rotational 8-hour shifts may apply based on business requirements.
