Developmental Services Center (DSC) provides comprehensive services across the lifespan-from birth through adulthood-including family development, case management, employment, residential, respite, and community day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford Counties. - As a Lead CILA DSP at DSC, you will support people we serve in a residential setting. In this role you will be responsible for the daily operation of the CILA home, and for providing a safe and therapeutic home environment. You will also provide guidance, support and training for the direct service staff of the home. Each day, you will work alongside individuals to promote their personal growth and maximize independence, contributing to DSC’s mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 21 years of age with valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency van.
- Must successfully complete required trainings.
- Must have sufficient physical stamina and mobility to push, pull, and lift.
- Paid training provided as necessary
- 40 hours per week, typically Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday with blended first and second shift hours. In general, hours will be 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Grant-funded retention bonuses up to 2 payments for a maximum of $1,600 per fiscal year! (depending on when in the grant year you are hired)
- PAID Training, with Direct Support Professional Certification within 90 days
