**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary educational team. The ideal candidate will specialize in helping students develop, recover, and enhance the skills needed for daily school activities. This role requires working closely with students, educators, and families to ensure students can achieve their full educational potential. Position primarily works academic calendar year, with opportunity for extra pay with extra duties (i.e., summer services).

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct assessments to understand students' needs in various functional areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Develop individualized intervention plans to address identified needs and goals, in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Implement therapeutic interventions that facilitate student participation and independence in school-related tasks.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, parents, and other school staff, to create supportive environments for student success.
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student independence and participation in school settings.
- Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and incorporate evidence-based interventions into therapy plans.

**Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Wyoming.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions for student needs within a diverse educational environment.
