Our family-owned company provides quality services for adults with developmental disabilities living in our CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements). As a Residential Specialist, you will make a difference for these amazing people by coordinating schedules for 4-8 employees that serve 8 individuals, helping them get to medical appointments, assisting with recordkeeping and providing direct care. If you have Direct Support Person (DSP) or CNA experience, this is a great advanced-level job for you, at our home in Cissna Park, IL!

Qualifications:
- Patience, dedication and passion for caregiving
- Good decision-making skills
- Solid attendance record
- Computer skills and experience - Word, Excel, Outlook and TEAMS
- Strong communication in writing and in person
Requirements:
- High School diploma/signed High School transcript including graduation date/G.E.D. - high school or equivalency
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- Successfully complete and pass background check
- Weekend/holiday availability may be required
- Shift flexibility required
- One year as a successful DSP preferred, not required
Responsibilities:
- Orient and train new DSPs
- Schedule staff
- Transport and attend medical appointments
- Meal planning and grocery orders
- Oversee household inventory
- Be available and participate in on-call duties
