Job Description: As a Direct Support Professional at DEBO, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care to our participants. You will assist with daily activities, encourage independence, and help our participants achieve their personal goals. This position is available for both part-time and full-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to participants in various settings, including their homes and community.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each participant's needs and goals.
- Encourage and empower participants to engage in community activities and develop social skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and participants' progress.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure a holistic approach to participant care.
- Uphold DEBO's core values by demonstrating initiative, going above and beyond for our participants, and prioritizing their needs.
Qualifications:
- Certifications in healthcare or related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
