Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm
Compensation
- Rate of pay - $20.00/hour $500 Sign on Bonus
- Medical Benefits - $38/month for an individual (opportunity to add dependents) $500 deductible, 100% covered after.

At Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, we transform everyday tasks into extraordinary moments of joy and growth. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll play a pivotal role in creating smiles and fostering independence for individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing support in both facility and community settings, assisting with personal hygiene and health needs, and coaching essential life skills. You'll organize engaging activities that promote social interaction and help people navigate their desires throughout the day.

To excel as a Direct Support Professional at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, a variety of essential skills and qualifications are necessary.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong preference for candidates possessing at least one year of paid work or related volunteer experience, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting others are vital.
- Current driver's license along with a clean motor vehicle record, since transportation in a company vehicle will be part of your role.
- Willingness to drive a large van/bus.
- Physical stamina is important to assist individuals safely, including the ability to stand, pivot, and transfer up to 75 pounds.
- Basic computer skills will aid in necessary documentation.
