About the Position
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Construction Inspectors to join our growing team in Baltimore County. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting sewer relining, sewer main rehabilitation and restoration, and water main rehabilitation and replacement. You will ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, contract requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
What You'll Do
Construction Inspection
- Perform daily field inspections of construction activities.
- Verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements.
- Observe construction methods, workmanship, and materials.
- Monitor project progress and construction schedules.
- Identify deficiencies and non-conforming work.
- Coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Verify quantities and completed work for project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings as required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily inspection reports and field documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, labor, equipment, and weather conditions.
- Capture and organize project photographs.
- Document field issues, corrective actions, and resolutions.
- Track material testing and inspection results.
- Assist with punch lists and project closeout documentation.
Quality Assurance
- Verify compliance with project quality requirements.
- Coordinate with testing laboratories and review test reports.
- Monitor installation of materials and completed work.
- Support acceptance testing and final inspections.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and permit requirements.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
5 years or more of construction inspection experience in sewer relining, sewer main rehabilitation and restoration, and water main rehabilitation and replacement.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
