Job Title: Youth Development Program Site Coordinator
Hours: Full-time, Hourly
Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.50/hr
Reports To: Youth Development Program Director
General Description of Position:
Developing K.I.D.S. (Developing Kingdoms In Different Stages) is seeking a creative, organized and enthusiastic Youth Development Site Coordinator. The desired candidate will report directly to the Youth Development Program Director.
In this intricate role, the desired candidate is responsible for supporting the Youth Development Program Director to ensure the day-to-day operations of the program are implemented successfully and efficiently. The individual will provide guidance to the team as a whole and individually, assisting them to accomplish their goals of implementing an impactful program. The Youth Development Site Coordinator is expected to connect with partners, key stakeholders, and families successfully.
Essential Functions
- Follows compliance with all government regulations, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization's mission; monitors the impact and effectiveness of the program, making approved adjustments as needed;
- Represents the organization on-site and in external meetings in the community;
- Supervises program assistants;
- Supports the quality control process for policies and procedures;
- Assists in coordinating activities between the organization and various outside parties, including corporations, non-profit organizations, foundations, sub-grant recipients, and elected officials;
- Supports other organizational leadership team members as necessary; and
- Convey the mission, vision, impact, and member experiences in a compelling manner;
- Implements logistical tasks;
- Conducts purchasing and material distribution;
- Maintains efficient records-keeping;
- Data-entry and assessment facilitation; and
- Guide intern and volunteer engagement
Specific Duties:
- Ensure timesheet entries are submitted and correct.
- Data management of registration and supervision of attendance tracking
- Ability to coach team members toward goal achievement;
- Work collaboratively across the organization, building strong relationships with colleagues to stay informed of the latest organizational and program developments;
- All other tasks as assigned.
Characteristics/Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of youth work experience or some college with 2 years of youth work experience
- Knowledge of YPQA and program quality standards
- Trained in Youth Work Methods desired
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivation and the ability to multitask
- Strong written and oral communication skills (bilingualism is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Efficient in Google Workspace
- Capacity to collaborate creatively, sensitively, and professionally with a diverse staff and volunteers
- Ability to successfully operate in a busy and dynamic work environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail
- Experience with event planning/support
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
Compensation:
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
